hello 2021…

We made it, I’m glad to say. I’ve made great progress in recovering from my broken ankle. It’s SO much better, out of the cast/boot/brace and into most of my regular shoes. I may get to start running again soon(ish). YAY!

A lot of new things coming up that I am happy to fill in in on.

Each year I like to take on a new theme to use as starting point to a series or body of work. I am planning to explore the idea of the “Riparian Zone”, where land meets water as my subject this year. I’m excited to inform you I will have time to do so while in residence at The Verdancy Project. I am looking forward to spending time with this landscape. Being witness to changes that occur in and around creek, listening to its story and finding how I can engage collaboratively with it and create art reflecting my direct observations and documentation of the environment. I will be there through March and returning over the summer to tend to different areas and gathering data and making additional observations. I keep you up to date with offerings and events that I will be a part of this project.

I am also starting a Patreon page. If you’re interested in being inspired by this project and finding out how you can become a patron follow this link.

art & love,
