Mid Winter & The Hungry Snow Moon

“I prefer winter and fall, when you can feel the bone structure in the landscape…”

- Andrew Wyeth

Here we are, the halfway point between winter and spring, and the full moon is around the corner.

I also love trees in the winter, how you can see the branches and their structure. All the different directions the branches grow and bend are magical to me. I'm interested in capturing their shapes and casting shadows through making drawings of paintings and drawings. Simplify, abstract, and granulate the shapes.
